This was an assignment completed for my Introduction of Television
Production course at Norfolk State University. This goal of the assignment was
to produce a 10 minute studio production. Let me just say that the folks on TV
make it look easy. With this assignment I learned the importance of
pre-production. EVERYTHING that has to do with the show should be completed
during pre-production. The time given for production is not the time to make
pre-production decisions, and it is definitely too late during post-production.
During post-production it is important to dedicate your time to editing the
finished product. What a learning experience!

Personal Statement
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRv2H0bLtkY
This is a taped personal statement for my Introduction to Television Production course at Norfolk State University. This assignment encouraged me to reflect on why I feel it is important to have a career in Mass Communications. The goal of this assignment is for students to experience the tedious process of editing as well as understanding the importance of having a segment completed in the allotted time frame. TIME IS MONEY!
